April Colours

I often think about this time of the year as Yellow Season as a lot of the early spring flowers are yellow.

Marsh Marigold

Dandelion

Daffodil

Primrose

There are other colours out there though. Some pink, some white, a little blue …

There are colours to see in the new spring foliage too.

Common Valerian in red and green

Having said all that, one of the most springy of the spring colours is of course green. The fresh brand new greenness of spring leaves is just delicious!
