As you may have seen last week (if you got to the end of the post!) I started a new jumper on Christmas day. The pattern is from Inside Crochet (issue 129), designed by Sandra Gutierrez AKA Nomad Stitches, and I’m using Cygnet DK yarn. My Mum bought me the yarn for Christmas, so of course I had to start it on Christmas day even though I already had several things on the go!
Well, mosaic crochet looks very complex, but it turns out it’s not that hard once you get your head round it. And as the pattern has continuous panels of mosaic crochet it never gets boring! On some jumpers you get past the yoke and it’s then a matter of keeping going, doing the same pattern, until it’s long enough. This pattern keeps your interest throughout! I’m really enjoying making this 🙂
So let’s have a look at progress so far …

Progress will start to slow down once I’m back to working next week, but I’ll have my evenings to work on it still. Who knows, it may even be finished by next weekend!
That is so amazingly intricate. I love the way that you showed your progress in the series of photos. I can’t believe how fast you are able to crochet. Wow!
