It’s a day late, but better late than never. I wasn’t feeling too great yesterday and didn’t get around to doing my usual crochet update. Probably didn’t help that I haven’t done that much crochet this week!
So, the lilac cardi has grown, but not massively:

It looks kind of lumpy in this shot. It’s just the increases and decreases making it hard to lie flat. In theory this will work a lot better when worn as it will have my lumpy body inside it! 🙂
There is another project I’ve not posted about and I can’t for the life of me remember when I actually started it. It’s another shawl/scarf for my daughter. The one I made before is a bit short as there wasn’t enough yarn so I am making another out of yarn I have plenty of. It’s Drops Air, and I made a cardi out of it, but had rather overestimated how much I’d need. So my daughter is lucky and will get a much longer, more practical scarf/shawl and it will be lovely and soft and snuggly. Of course, now the weather is lovely and warm, she won’t need it, but it will keep for colder days.
I’ve been increasing for a while, and haven’t decided yet when I’ll stop and start decreasing. I decided to throw in a bit of a pattern rather than just going straight trebles all the way, so every 4th row is tr, ch, tr.

In other crafty news I made a couple more macrame pot holders. I now have 6.
